Interviewing
These exercises are useful for job interview skills, media interviews and most other interview situations.
Group Interviewing
A member chooses a subject they would like to be interviewed about.
The other members ask questions in turn.
Answers should take less than 30 seconds.
The questions should be open, using words like who?, what?, when?, where?, why?, how?
rather than closed questions that can be answered with a yes or no such as
is?, did?, are?, etc.
Panel Interviewing
An alternative is for an interview panel (say 3 people) and an interviewee
to have a mock interview session. This should last several minutes.
One of the panel will be the leader and control the proceedings.
