Voice Control And Breathing
Distant Audience
Using a larger room, give a speech where the speaker is at one end
and the audience at the other. Aim to speak to somebody in the back row.
Vocal Volume
Members stand and turn to face the walls.
They say a short phrase (proverb, line from song, etc.)
loud enough for the person behind them to hear it.
The exercise is repeated, so that somebody in the next room could hear.
Repeat again with somebody across the street.
The aim is to raise the volume of the speaking voice to suit different circumstances but not to shout.
